UWSP call for applications - coordinator position

Are you enthusiastic about the environment and feel that you have the skills to lead a whole bunch of awesome volunteers?

Do you have leadership experience and an unsatiable itch to be involved on campus?

DO YOU WANT TO MOVE THE CAMPUS TOWARDS SUSTAINABILITY?

If yes, then you should apply for the position of UWSP Coordinator -there will be 2 positions available for Winter 2006. Interested individuals should send a resume highlighting relevant experience, including UWSP activities, and a one-page explanation (MS Word file) of why you want to be a Coordinator to HINGMAN.LEUNG@GMAIL.COM. Deadline for applications is FRIDAY DECEMBER 9.

We will be interviewing eligible candidates during the exam period, so please include the date of your last exam on your application.

Another Great Joint Environmental Movie Night!

The Environmental Studies Society and UW Field Naturalists are co-hosting anenvironmental/field-naturalisty movie night on Tuesday, Dec. 6th in the ES Coffee Shop in ES1 (lower floor), to help students chill for a bit before the exam crunch gets underway. :)
7 pm - March of the Penguins - the story of the livesn of penguins living in the Arctic and the crazy hike they have to take in order to survive - Incredible!
9 pm - Medicine Man - a field botanist tries to find the cure for cancer in the Amazon Rainforest - before it all gets cut down! Also, Sean Connery with a ponytail. ^_^ Admission is free, popcorn is free, and as we all know, the best things in life are free. ;)
